A British woman, 23, who was in Texas to visit her father was shot and killed. An investigation is now begun.
Cheshire police in Britain say that Lucy Harrison died on January 10 at her dad’s house in Prosper, Texas, which is a neighborhood of Dallas. Fox News Digital got an autopsy report that said she was shot in the chest by someone else, but it didn’t give many other details. The police in Prosper told the news outlet that their detectives looked into what they called a “tragic incident” in great detail.
The police have given the Collin County District Attorney their report on the killing. The DA will decide if criminal charges should be brought. Cheshire police, who are also looking into the case, shared the following statement from Harrison’s mother and boyfriend.
Lucy was everything. She lived it with a lot of fury and without fear, letting herself feel everything that life has to offer. Lucy loved without shame; she had a huge ability to love and be loved.
She was the perfect example of a wonderful contrast. She loved to travel and be away, seeing new places and cultures. But at the same time, she loved nothing more than staying home in her pajamas with candles lit.
She could be dramatic and make things sound like the end of the world, but she was also honest and not afraid to have tough talks. She was really enjoying life, which makes us feel better, but we are still crushed over the loss of our beautiful Luce.
Harrison was born in the English town of Warrington, which is between Liverpool and Manchester. It is said that she went to Manchester Metropolitan University. To the Manchester Evening News, the school said that she was a “well-liked and valuable member of our school community.”
“People will remember her for how hard she worked, how dedicated she was to her studies, and how friendly and positive she was in our college community.” It said, “Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this very sad time.”
