ATLANTA – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is bringing a unique light to its facilities with its annual “Lights of Love” event, which is taking place as Valentine’s Day draws closer.
This year, the event will be held in all three of Children’s Healthcare’s campuses, including the recently constructed Arthur M. Blank Hospital, which is located on North Druid Hills Road.
In order to provide a bright and encouraging demonstration of support for children who are undergoing medical care, the hospital is requesting members of the community to bring flashlights or use their cell phones to shine lights toward patient rooms.
A sense of community and affection will be brought to people who are housed within the hospitals, according to authorities from the hospitals, who have stated that the event is intended to elevate the spirits of patients, relatives, and staff.
On February 14, at 5:30 p.m., the opening of the “Lights of Love” gathering will take place outside of the Hughes Spalding building. The festivities that will take place at the other two locations will begin at 8 p.m. For further information, please go here.
