Southern California Man Threatens Family with AK-47, Wife Assaulted in Shocking Incident

The man was taken into custody by law enforcement in San Bernardino County on Friday, according to the announcement made by officials. The man is accused of attacking his wife while armed, leaving her hospitalized, and threatening to kill her and their young children.

A domestic disturbance report was received in Adelanto at approximately 7:49 p.m. on February 13, according to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, which stated that deputies arrived to the spot.

That the man was armed and attacking his wife, according to the caller, was stated by SBSD.

Adelanto resident Dale Allen Roos, who is 40 years old, was taken into custody by the deputies as soon as they arrived at the residence situated in the 11100 block of Rosedale Drive. The house was evacuated and the suspect was taken into custody.

It was reported by SBSD that Roos is a convicted offender.

The findings of the investigation revealed that Roos had beaten his wife, who was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. On Friday evening, the authorities did not immediately provide any information regarding her current state of health.

According to a statement released by SBSD, “Roos also threatened to kill his wife and smaller children, all of whom were under the age of 15,”

During the course of the search of the residence, the AK-47 assault rifle, in addition to a number of other ammunition, was discovered.

Assault with a deadly weapon, spousal abuse, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of an unlawful assault weapon, and manufacturing of a large capacity magazine were the charges, and Roos was detained and booked at the High Desert Detention Center by the deputies who were responsible for his detention.

Roos is currently being held with a bail amount of $150,000, according to SBSD.
