Florida UBM– A police officer on horseback was after a suspect who was running away, and the body camera footage captures this. It was discovered that horses are better at running than humans.
According to the authorities in Duval County, Florida, the man, Jordan Even Wilson, who is 25 years old, surrendered after he became exhausted and lay down on the ground. The police say that he was involved in a narcotics trade with a woman, but the details are not apparent because the arrest affidavit has been heavily redacted. The police did notice that someone tossed an object in the parking lot of a McDonald’s that Wilson walked past, but the officers were unable to find anything.
Wilson did not plead guilty to a drug charge. Instead, on Wednesday, he pleaded no contest to resisting an officer without injury to his or her person, according to the records. He was sentenced to two days in jail and was given the same amount of time-served credit.
In video from Tuesday, the man who was identified as Wilson started at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and ran directly into traffic.
“Get that bad man,” the point-of-view police officer shouted in tape. She shouted at the man who was running away. “You should quit now. You’re going to get hit!
She also made a comment about something that was already known.
She said, “Bro, you won’t be able to outrun us on that horse!” “You had better stop!”
Wilson came to a halt and sat down next to a tree.
