San Antonio – A man was given a 50-year prison sentence for repeatedly sexually abusing a youngster.
Isaac Benavidez was convicted of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old child for more than a year.
According to the prosecutors, the victim’s mother witnessed the crime.
For the rest of his life, Benavidez will be required to register as a sex offender.

Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales stated, “Today, we hope that the community and the victim feel safer knowing that the defendant is going to prison.”
