Based on the information provided by the West Haven police, Jevon Fletcher is being charged with two charges of murder, as well as two counts of murder with exceptional circumstances and risk of injury. Police got multiple complaints on Saturday night regarding a disturbance at an apartment complex. This occurred when Fletcher jumped out of a window of an apartment that was located on the second floor.
When the officers entered the apartment from which he had jumped, they discovered a woman who was 19 years old and a boy who was 2 years old who had been stabbed to death. Fletcher was taken into custody by these officers. On Tuesday, he was discharged from the hospital and transported to the jail, where he is currently being held on a bond of three million dollars. On March 13, he is expected to appear in court for the next time.
An explanation for the killings has not been disclosed by the police.
Hailey Miller was what the family named the deceased woman, according to the family. However, officers have stated that the deceased youngster was Fletcher’s son. The name of the child has not been made public. According to a GoFundMe website, Miller was not his mother, but Miller does leave behind a kid who is only a toddler. According to the description provided by the fundraiser, Miller is “a mother who works hard and is always looking to further her education and career.”

As of Tuesday afternoon, the contribution total for the fundraising event had surpassed twenty thousand dollars. Costs associated with her son’s funeral are covered by the money.

I believed I heard someone yell out, “No, no, no!” According to Moss Hanley, a neighbor, “I was looking out the window wondering what was going on.” I was first in a state of denial, but I understood right then and there that it was a terrible thing and that it was most certainly a murder.
The idea that someone would cause harm to a lady and a child was incomprehensible to many.
Ben Hanley, a neighbor, expressed his disgust to the television station by saying, “The fact that it’s a woman and a child is honestly sickening to me.”
