ST. PAUL, Minnesota — According to the United States Department of Justice, a Crystal man who is 22 years old has admitted to five charges of producing and attempting to produce child pornography.
Dapree Richard Christlieb-Peterson pleaded guilty to the charges in a St. Paul court on Tuesday.
According to acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick, who cited court records, Christlieb-Peterson engaged in sexually explicit communications with at least five females in Minnesota, Florida, and other locations between April 2022 and September 2023. He did this through the use of the internet, social media, and text messaging.
According to federal officials, Christlieb-Peterson would force the girls to have sexual relations with him that were against the law, videotape the experiences on his cell phone, and then share the tapes with other people.
There is no date set for Christlieb-Peterson’s sentencing.
The investigation was conducted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as part of Project Safe Childhood, a national project created by the Department of Justice to fight against the sexual exploitation of children.
