Atlanta Police on the Hunt for Man Accused of Double Homicide and Vehicle Hijacking

ATLANTA – Kmauri Burnett is wanted for two charges of murder and one count of hijacking a motor vehicle in connection with various violent occurrences that occurred in Atlanta. The authorities are investigating the situation and hunting for him.

What we are aware of:

At 11:20 p.m. on January 7, 2021, cops showed up at 708 Spring Street Northwest in response to a report of a stolen vehicle. This marked the beginning of the investigation. Officers were informed by the victim that he had left his vehicle running while he went to get some dinner, and that a suspect had entered the vehicle and driven away. A firearm was used to intimidate the victim as they sought to stop the suspect from committing the crime. A wallet, bank cards, and a black Alcatel iPad were among the items that were taken from the vehicle.

In just 35 minutes, at 11:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Encore Hookah Bar & Bistro located at 320 Luckie Street Northwest. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim who had been shot and had died as a result of his injuries.

At six o’clock in the morning on April 20, 2023, authorities arrived to the location of 2030 Main Street Northwest, where they discovered another male victim who had been shot numerous times and was pronounced dead at the scene. This occurred more than two years later. Almost immediately after that, the police were dispatched to 2479 Abner Terrace NW, where they discovered a third man victim from a shooting. Although he was taken to the hospital, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
