Police in Los Angeles, California, say that a large group of teenage bicyclists attacked a guy very badly.
Police in Los Angeles said in a press statement that the crime took place around 5 p.m. Saturday in the Carthay neighborhood.
There was a report of an attack near San Vicente Boulevard and Carrillo Drive, so police went there.
Police were told by witnesses that the man got into a fight with a group of 20 to 30 suspects who were thought to be 16 to 18 years old.
A group of suspects hit and kicked the man’s car before he got out to approach them. There was then a fight, which led to more suspects joining the fight, according to police.
Police said that the man was “immediately overwhelmed” by the big group of suspects. The man was punched and kicked even after he was on the ground.
Police say that when onlookers tried to help, the suspects rode their bikes south on Carrillo Drive and left the area.
For help with the man, paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived. He had slight injuries that could be seen, but he refused to be taken to the hospital.
Police are still looking for the suspects and are asking people to help them find the people who did the attack.
