FBI Says a 21-year-old Man Was Arrested and is Being Charged With Planning an Attack on Corpus Christi Cops

Monday, the FBI in Houston said they worked with the Corpus Christi cops Department to stop what they said was an attack on cops.

Local and federal police said that 21-year-old Seth “Andrea” Gregori was arrested on Monday for making a terroristic threat.

A news release from the Corpus Christi Police Department said that the FBI was told that Gregori was making threats against police agents. Following an investigation into the threats, the FBI obtained an arrest warrant for Gregori.

The FBI said Gregori had planned an attack on police like the one Micah Xavier Johnson, 25, did in 2016 in Dallas, where he shot and killed five police officers and hurt nine others. He also hurt two civilians.

“We have no idea why he made the threat,” said Jennifer Collier, a senior officer with the Corpus Christi police department. She also said that the FBI had not given the local department any more information about the claimed threats.

She said the FBI is still looking into it.

Mike Gordon, chief felony prosecutor for Nueces County, said that the office will not file an indictment against Gregori until the FBI finishes its probe.

Gregori was charged with criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor, in December 2024, according to reports from Nueces County.
