On Friday, a multi-car disaster occurred on the 405 Freeway near Westwood. A woman and a dog died, and several other individuals were injured in the accident.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it occurred on the northbound lanes close to Wilshire Boulevard at approximately 6:45 p.m.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters were sent to the location, where they reported that one individual was stuck inside of a car and required assistance. According to reports, a dog and a 72-year-old woman, who has not been named, died in the accident.
According to firefighters, three more people were hurt, and two of them were reported to be in critical condition. The third person is a 60-year-old woman who is in fair shape.
According to authorities from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a SigAlert was issued for three lanes on the northbound side of the freeway due to the incident. The alert was in effect until just after 10:30 p.m.
According to firefighters, one dog was missing when it ran onto the freeway, but officials have already captured it.
