What is the highest amount of Social Security that can be received in February 2025?
In February 2025, the Social Security Administration will send the maximum check to various groups of pensioners, as it does every month of the year. The highest amount we can receive depends on the form of retirement:
- The maximum monthly retirement benefit at age 70 is $5,180.
- The highest amount for retirement at age 67 is $4,018.
- Disability Retirement: Maximum of $4,018.
In addition to these benefits, we can also include Supplemental Security Income (SSI) checks, which provide a maximum benefit of $967 per month. These payments can be made through Social Security, but you must request a check ahead of time.
