The Golden Lumpia food truck, which is based in Arizona, is making its way westward in order to provide those who have been devastated by the tragic wildfires in California with warm Filipino cuisine.
Having been profoundly affected by the recent occurrences, proprietor Jhona Pacaonces made the decision to take action after observing the community’s concerted attempts to assist one another in the aftermath of the distressing situation.
She witnessed individuals erecting tents and providing food to those who were impoverished, and she felt obligated to make a contribution.
Jhona was motivated by this, and she urged her fiance, “Let’s go,” before making the decision to travel to Los Angeles in order to provide free hot meals to those who had been affected by the wildfires and to first responders.
This coming Wednesday, Golden Lumpia, which is particularly well-known for its mouthwatering Filipino cuisine, will arrive in the state of California. It is their intention to provide food and relief to people who have been most affected by the fires, and they intend to offer meals on Thursday and Friday specifically.
Along their tour, they will make visits at fire stations in Malibu and Santa Monica, as well as areas where persons who have been displaced and members of the Filipino community are looking for assistance.
Jhona made a post on Instagram a few days ago in order to inform her followers that Golden Lumpia would be traveling to California in order to provide meals.
She expressed her appreciation for the wonderful gifts that made it possible to prepare hundreds of meals for those living in need. Because to the donations, the cost of the ingredients and other supplies that were required to assist the effort has been partially covered.
Jhona also extended an invitation to others to make a contribution in her post, mentioning that any money collected will be put toward funding the hot meals that they want to serve.
Additionally, they asked for donations of supplies such as bottled water, which they will then deliver to those who have been affected by the flames caused by the disaster.
During this trying time, the purpose of Golden Lumpia is to support people who are on the front lines with sustenance and comfort.
